How to spot a drone flying overhead

The drone, a white metal robot with an orange head, has been spotted hovering above Melbourne’s busy CBD in recent weeks.

It is currently owned by an organisation called Skylab and is equipped with a camera and a camera phone to record video footage.

A video of the drone has also been posted online, which has attracted more than 2.5 million views.

It’s not the first time this has happened.

In 2015, a similar drone, nicknamed ‘the moo-wabbit’, flew above the Sydney Harbour Bridge for about three minutes before being pulled away.

The camera was placed in the air and the footage was shared on social media.
