Drone crashes into house near San Diego, killing two children

An air-controlled drone crashed in a neighborhood in San Diego late Saturday, killing at least two children, authorities said.

The accident occurred about 2 p.m. in the area of the town of San Carlos, said Lt.

Mark Kelly, a spokesman for the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.

Authorities said the crash was caused by an unresponsive drone.

The children, ages 4 and 8, were taken to the hospital, Kelly said.

Police have not released any information about the cause of the crash, and a neighbor said the children’s mother had been in the house at the time of the accident.

Drone map apps like Google Maps, Apple Maps, and Amazon’s mapping service, AirBnB, have been hugely influential in the last decade in helping us navigate around the world and discover places we rarely see.

The app makers have also been quick to capitalize on the app’s popularity by releasing new maps every couple of months, with new features and updates every two weeks.

With drone mapping, the app makers are using the data to create apps for drone users and make a living from it.
